IRELAND VISA ASSISTANCE
Ireland Tourist Visa for Filipinos
Prepare for Ireland with clear guidance on AVATS, supporting documents, VFS submission and the time to allow before your trip.
Updated

A few days in Dublin, a drive along the west coast or time with family: start with the visit you actually plan to make. Ireland is not in the Schengen Area and has its own visa requirements. A Schengen visa does not replace an Irish visa.
For Philippine passport holders applying from the Philippines, the process starts in Ireland’s AVATS system. You then submit the signed summary, passport and supporting documents following the current VFS instructions. We help prepare and review the file, with guidance through submission readiness and passport return.

What to prepare
AVATS summary and passport
Complete AVATS truthfully, then print, sign and date the application summary. Keep the transaction number. Prepare your current passport, previous-passport copies and two colour photographs to the current specifications. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your planned departure from Ireland.
Purpose, dates and accommodation
Prepare a signed application letter, a clear itinerary and accommodation evidence. Explain who is traveling, who pays and when you intend to leave. Avoid purchasing flights before the decision. Temporary reservations may support the plan where appropriate; they do not replace the required evidence.
Finances and ties at home
Prepare financial evidence appropriate to the trip, including six months of account activity and explanations for large movements where required. Employment, business, study and family evidence should show your circumstances and reasons to return. Follow the current bank certification and original-document instructions.
Your individual circumstances
Disclose previous visa refusals and provide the requested records. A sponsored visit needs evidence of the relationship, support and sponsor’s finances. Children require their own application and the applicable parental / guardianship documents. Documents outside English or Irish need the required certified translation.
Use the current VFS Philippines checklist and AVATS summary instructions for the final document order, originals and copies. Additional documents may be requested. Other visit purposes and nonstandard cases require an individual quotation.
FROM AVATS TO SUBMISSION
How we guide your application
- 01
Confirm the right application
We review your intended visit, entry needs and any possible exemption before preparing the standard single-entry application.
- 02
Prepare the AVATS application
We help with preparation and consistency checks. You remain responsible for truthful answers. Complete the official system and retain its summary and reference number.
- 03
Review the supporting file
Print, sign and date the summary and organize the passport, supporting evidence and payment records according to the current checklist.
- 04
Follow VFS instructions
Arrange submission through the official Philippines service. VFS describes appointment booking and online service-fee payment after AVATS. Follow any attendance or identity-check instructions; WITH VEYA cannot replace required personal attendance.
- 05
Track and review the result
Use the official reference and respond to further requests. We guide tracking and passport-return arrangements, then help check any visa issued against your travel plans.
Submitting AVATS alone does not complete the application. The signed summary, passport and required documents must reach the designated application office through the instructed route. Follow the current submission deadline shown in the official instructions.
ALLOW MORE TIME THAN THE MINIMUM
Processing and passport return
The Philippine VFS tourist material describes a minimum planning period of 6–8 weeks. Current Irish Immigration guidance says approximately eight weeks from receipt at the visa office, embassy or consulate. This is not measured from when you start AVATS or request WITH VEYA assistance.
Allow extra time for appointments, document transfer, additional checks and passport return. Do not buy flights before a decision. A temporary reservation can be used where appropriate, and the itinerary should remain realistic. A processing estimate is not a promised completion date.
The passport is submitted as instructed for assessment and visa issuance; this is not an electronic-visa promise. Reconfirm collection or optional courier arrangements with VFS. Authorized collection, if available, depends on the current instructions. Final admission and permitted stay are decided by Irish immigration.
CHECK BEFORE PAYING FOR AN APPLICATION
An eligible UK visa may change what you need
Some Philippine passport holders may qualify for Ireland’s Short Stay Visa Waiver Programme while it operates. You must hold an eligible UK short-stay visa, have used it to enter the UK lawfully for the relevant period of permission, and meet all the Irish programme conditions. Holding a UK visa alone is not enough.
The official guide currently linked by Irish Immigration states that the programme continues until 31 October 2026 and may be amended. No extension beyond that date has been assumed here. Check the current programme status for your actual travel dates before relying on it.
The visit must fit within the remaining UK permission and the programme’s maximum stay. UK transit and marriage / civil-partnership visitor visas are excluded; a UK ETA is not a qualifying visa. Eligibility and entry are checked individually. Ireland’s programme does not grant permission to enter the UK or Northern Ireland.

AFTER A DECISION
Check the visa and travel requirements
If approved, check your personal details, entry validity and single-entry condition. Irish guidance requires travel / medical insurance before travel; evidence may also be requested during assessment. Keep the documents needed to explain your visit at the border. A visa permits travel to seek entry, not automatic admission.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A little more clarity
No. Ireland is not in the Schengen Area and has its own requirements. A Schengen visa does not replace an Irish visa. Check your individual eligibility and any applicable exemption.
Start in the official AVATS system, then print, sign and date the application summary. Submit it with your passport and required documents following the AVATS summary and current VFS Philippines instructions. Completing AVATS alone is not a complete submission.
Allow at least 6–8 weeks from receipt by the visa office, plus extra time for appointments, transfer, checks and passport return. Current Irish guidance describes approximately eight weeks; individual cases can take longer.
No. Irish guidance says to wait for a decision before buying travel tickets. Temporary reservations may be used where appropriate to explain the plan. Neither a reservation nor a paid ticket guarantees a visa.
Not automatically. Some Philippine passport holders may qualify under the Short Stay Visa Waiver Programme after lawful UK entry using an eligible short-stay visa, subject to all conditions and remaining UK permission. The linked official guide states 31 October 2026 as the programme end date; check its current status for your travel dates. No extension is assumed. A UK ETA or simply holding a UK visa is not sufficient.
WITH VEYA application preparation assistance and review, the standard Irish single-entry visa fee and the standard mandatory VFS service fee. Other visa categories, fee exemptions and nonstandard cases require an individual quotation.
Optional courier, premium services, translations, document issuance, certification and other applicant-specific expenses where applicable. Flights, accommodation and travel / medical insurance are separate. We explain the applicable costs before proceeding.
Yes, follow the AVATS summary and current VFS document-submission instructions, including the passport. This service does not promise an eVisa or automatic passport retention at home. Confirm any attendance, collection or courier arrangement before relying on it.
Irish guidance requires it before travel if your visa is approved, and the visa officer may request evidence before a decision. Insurance is separate from the package; follow the instructions for your case.
No. The competent Irish authorities make the decision and control processing. A visa does not guarantee admission at the border or a particular period of stay.
